Terms of service

Last updated: 2026-10-26

The short version

  • ✓ Setup is free. There's no monthly fee and no contract.
  • ✓ You pay per call where your customer leaves a message, plus per minute, as shown on our pricing page. Hang-ups, silent calls, robocalls and calls under 10 seconds are free.
  • ✓ Eva takes messages. She never quotes prices or makes promises for you.
  • ✓ You can stop any time by turning off call forwarding or tapping “Turn off” in the app.

The service

AlloEva answers calls forwarded to your AlloEva number, takes a message and sends it to you. AlloEva is a message-taking service: it is not an emergency service and does not replace one.

Your account

You must be authorized to use the business phone number you register and to forward its calls. Keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown on our pricing page in your currency, before taxes. We charge your card monthly for the previous month's usage, or earlier if your usage reaches your account's billing threshold. Taxes are added where required.

If a payment fails, we'll ask you to update your card. While payment is overdue, Eva keeps answering your calls but messages are locked until payment is made. After 30 days unpaid, the service is paused.

Spam calls

You can mark a call as spam and it won't be charged. This is for unwanted calls only. We may review unusual use of this feature.

Acceptable use

Don't use AlloEva for anything illegal, to harass anyone, or to make outbound marketing calls. Don't try to break or misuse the service.

Our responsibility

We work hard to answer every call, but we can't guarantee that every call will be answered or every message delivered (phone networks and internet services can fail). To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost business.

Ending the service

You can stop at any time. We may suspend accounts that don't pay or that break these terms. Your phone number forwarding stays under your control.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; we'll tell you about important changes in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of the province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply, unless the law of your place of residence requires otherwise.
